Pavé the Way® Jewelry with Joan Hornig does not sell or share our mailing and contact lists. Please add your name and email address to our mailing list in the footer of our website to join. PURCHASES/SHOPPING

What is the return/exchange policy?
All Pavé the Way® Jewelry with Joan Hornig jewelry purchased online can be returned for a refund of your purchase price in the form that it was paid within 14 days of receiving the order if the following terms are met.

All items must be returned in as-sold condition, unworn, and in the original packaging.

If you would like to exchange your purchase for something else, then please contact us here or at info@pave-the-way.com with the specific request.

If your purchase arrives damaged or broken, then please contact us info@pave-the-way.com immediately for a full refund, exchange or arrange for a repair.

When can I expect to receive my purchase?
All domestic orders should be received within 10 days or less. If your selection is out of stock, then you will be notified of an expected delivery date, and you will not be charged for the item. In the event of a production delay, we will promptly notify you with an updated time frame and offer you the opportunity to cancel your order. If your order consists of more than one item and a selection in your shopping cart is on backorder, then you will only be charged shipping for one order.

How will my purchase be shipped?
Domestic orders are shipped via a certified carrier and you will be notified of the tracking number once the order has been processed. An adult upon delivery must sign for all domestic orders unless specified otherwise. International shipping rates and methods will vary according to their size, value and destination. Will I pay sales tax on my purchase?
New York State Sales Tax is applicable for purchases sent to a New York address. You will see your tax charges on your receipt when you place your order.

Does Pavé the Way® Jewelry with Joan Hornig have a retail store?
Pavé the Way® Jewelry with Joan Hornig will have a number of events across the country.  We will post on Instagram and Facebook the dates and where the events will be held so please follow us.

Is gift-wrap an option?
Yes. Please note at check out that you want your purchase gift-wrapped and add any personalized note you want to be included in the package.

CHARITY INFORMATION

Pavé the Way® Jewelry with Joan Hornig items are designed to make a statement and a difference. Every purchase generates a charitable donation of all profits on that purchase and is made by Pavé the Way® Jewelry with Joan Hornig in the purchaser’s or gift recipient’s honor to the charity of the purchaser’s choice.

How do I specify a charity to benefit from my purchase?
  1. Every purchase generates a charitable contribution made by Pavé the Way® Jewelry with Joan Hornig. The organization selected must be a registered 501(c) 3
  2. Choose a registered charity
  3. Email the charity’s name and a proof of purchase to mycharity@pave-the-way.com
  4. All profits from your order will be donated in your name 

If you are choosing a large organization with local branches, then please specify which one you want to receive the donation. If you are choosing a specific program or department within an organization, then please specify that. If you do not have a charity choice, then you can peruse our Charities List here of organizations already selected by Hornig customers or have Pavé the Way® Jewelry with Joan Hornig select a charity for you.

The more specific the information you give us the better.  We want to keep the giving going and thank you for taking the time to select a charity that matters to you.  In addition, a donation card is included in the packaging with instructions on how to donate. Donations are made after our refund period has expired.

How can I designate the donation to be made in someone else’s honor?
If you’d like to donate in someone else's name, then in the email to us, please write down the charity with all the attendant information we requested (see above) AS WELL AS the name of the person who you would like the donation to honor, their email or postal address.

How will I know the donation has been made?
Unless you specify otherwise, you will be referenced as the honoree of the donation. We hope the non-profit contacts you and thanks you, but we will also have a record. Donations are made quarterly.  

JEWELRY INFORMATION

Where is the jewelry made?
Skilled artisans in India make all the jewelry. All the Pavé the Way® Jewelry with Joan Hornig jewelry designs are created by Joan Hornig.

How do I care for my jewelry?
Proper care and maintenance will preserve the beauty of your Pavé the Way® Jewelry with Joan Hornig jewelry. Take care to avoid exposing jewelry to substances containing bleach or ammonia. Avoid contact with perfumes, hairspray, cosmetics or other household chemicals. Remove your jewelry before contact with water. Sterling silver and brass can be polished with standard non-abrasive polishing cloths.

How can I have my jewelry repaired?
We apologize in advance if any of our products need repair. Please email 

info@pave-the-way.com or call 212.427.6216 to arrange for a repair. All repairs are handled on a case-by-case basis. Charges are assessed once the item for repair has been received and evaluated by our representatives. You will be notified if any charges are required and we will need you to accept any charges before proceeding with any repair.

Can I alter a piece of Pavé the Way® Jewelry with Joan Hornig jewelry?

What metals are used for the jewelry?
We use Sterling Silver and 18K Gold Vermeil. Every item description includes the metals and stones used.
